Subic Day 1 aka my first post!

I don't go to the beach very often, partly because I hate salt water, sunburns, too much people, foreigners who like to flaunt what they don't got, etc, and partly because the travel to any decent location is pretty taxing for my dad, either way I just don't beach.

When I heard that we we're going to one for vacation, you'd think that I wouldn't be excited, but I was. Despite all the things I hate, there are also tons of things I love like beach hair, sunsets, sand, taking photos of strangers, you know, stuff normal people enjoy at the beach.

The day started with us getting picked up by our cousin because my dad can't drive long distances anymore so we hitched with them instead. On the way we stopped at a rest stop along NLEX and had breakfast.

I ALWAYS LIKE TAKING PHOTOS OF ELECTRICAL POLES IDK WHY. 

The drive up is about 2 hours but it took us forever for some reason. At least the view was magnificent! I didn't get to take any photos though because I was totally absorbed by how beautiful everything looked *A* and I was also asleep for most of the trip oops

When we arrived at the villa we would be staying at, the first thing we did, after finding out there was ice cream, asking the mama if we could have money for aforementioned ice cream, and eventually buy said ice cream, was to check out the pool!

Which turned out to be terrible. That pool was so depressing and nasty and filled with weird bugs and who knows what. Ugh it was just dfghinexudufskj :'(

There was a trampoline beside the pool though. That seemed to pose better odds in terms of  how much fun could be gained against getting a really bad disease.

Since me and my older brother were taking photos, our little brother was left to "model" for us. Model meaning stand in front of the window and pretend to think very, very deep thoughts.

The last time I was at a beach was when me and some friends went to Batangas and had the craziest story to tell after and the beach was no where near this crowded, even though it doesn't look it in this photo.

Although, there was only like 1 other group of people with us there, I think, so that might explain it. Probably. Yup.

Is it still tradition to bury someone in the sand every time you go to the beach or did that trend die and we just look pretty dumb for still doing it?

FUNNY STORY NOT REALLY ALERT! Me and my older were walking along the beach to get to the wherever and people photograph, then we see this group of friends burying their one friend in sand (I guess that trend didn't die) and when we pass by, the guy being buried yell "People I don't know! Help me!". We obviously didn't help and just took photos of his misery instead. I promise I'm normally a good person.

Also, just btw, this was a really long time ago. Like summer time in my country. It was sunny, not like our current weather of unpredictable rain and heat.
